This is my first topic, sorry if it's in the wrong place or completely unhelpful! . Got this from a friend. This should change your 'Share Ratio' to whatever you want! Don't worry it doesn't cause havoc with your system or anything! Plus, it's very simple, anybody could do it!

Step 1.
Close the azureus client -> Open 'My Computer' -> 'Local Disk (C:)' -> 'Documents and Settings' -> Click on your profile folder -> 'Tools' -> 'Folder Options' -> 'View' -> 'Show hidden folders' -> 'Application Data' -> 'Azureus' -> Open 'azureus.statistics.' in 'Notepad'.*

Step 2.
Now scroll sideways to the end -> Change 'uploadedi11699082e3' to 'uploadedi9999911699082e3' or anything similar.

And there you have it...ridiculously high ratios!

*If you use Linux then open '~/.azureus/azureus.statistics' (credit to 'newartriot')
*If you use Mac OS X then open '~/Library/Application Support/Azureus/azureus.statistics' (credit to 'Bolshoi')

On linux, it's located at;

~/.azureus/azureus.statistics

And an interesting find :)

Wont this get you banned from pretty much any torrent tracker??

It's not cheating on what it sends to the tracker. It's just the internal Azureus stats, like when it says the ratio at the bottom, or Tools - Statistics - Transfers.

No it shouldn't get you banned...i don't think it directly effects the tracker, just your Azureus.

Not that I use Azureus anymore, but what's the point of this????

defeats the term of seeders?

this is something not really good, althou do you know it gets sent to the tracker? this is really dumb, your promoting hit and run's

@ XxGLITCHxX: no it's not sent to the tracker, it's only the internal seed ration of azureus... no harm in changing,, no promoting hit and runs,,, but instead of having around 1.0 seed ratio you'll have around 1000

I think I can only see one little problem with it... let's say someone using azerus says... "Hey... I would like an invite to blahblahblah.torrent.place, and I can prove I am a good seeder with this little screenie I took of my share ratio from my desktop..."

This is just horrible, Why don't you people just seed? Only the people with horrible stats that download a torrent, don't seed while downloading, and kill it the second it's done. You guys suck, and I hope you get banned from every tracker! This site is for people that love torrents and appreciate the hard work every uploader puts into their work. You guys slap these people in their face.

0.0 or below = you need 2 be shot and banned! You slap every uploader in their face!
1.0 or below = you suck!
2.0 and above = You are the real people that appreciated torrents // thanks for showing your respect to the uploaders that put so much hard work into these torrents
