Here is some helpful Tips and trick i have found during my time of surfing randomly around the Internet, or just be trying until it worked

Ill go though

1. Downloading Music with google

2. The Time in any city

3. Money

4. Removing irritating sites

5. Face recognize

1. Download Music with google

All you have to do is to Search for this

-inurl:htm -inurl:html intitle:"index of" mp3 "music"

or press the direct link

Direkt link

insert the name of the Number, Artist or even Album, where it saids Music, remember to keep the "" around the name.

Now you'll see (hopefully) a lot of result, with a name something like "Index of/..." , when you press one of these you'll normally goto a page with a list of Number and/or Directories.

find the one you wanted, and look which icon there is in front of the Link(name),
- if its a note, right click and "save target as", and it should be downloading.
- if its not a note, pres it to get to the next page, and you should be able to download it from there.


2. The Time in any city

Ever wonder what the time is in a different timezone/city, or maybe made a bet with a friend

Its very simple just search for "What time is it in New York" to find out what time it is in New York

Resume search for: What time is it in "City Name" (no need for the "")

or press the direct link

Any City
New York
Hong Kong
London
Shanghai

3. Money

Lets say you are going on a vacation in the UK, from The US.
You are looking at the hotel reservation, and it saids 20 pounds a day, BUT you dont know what 20 pounds is in Dollars

Just search for: 20 UK/British Pounds/money to US Dollars/money
- Whenever there is a / you can just choose one

This trick is not only for pounds and dollars, but work on any kind of money i have tried so far.

4. Removing irritating sites

Lets say you are searching for some specific thing on google ex. a song BUT lets say there are 2 or more Artist who have made this song. AND you are only interested in one of them..

Lets say you want "Tainted love" with and artist you cant remember the name of (Marilyn Manson in this case) and NOT Soft Cell

then you search for: "Tainted Love" -"Soft Cell"

This Trick can also be used for websites.. ex. -ebay.com or something like that..

5. Face recognize

Ever tried image searching with Google Image after some person and then you get a lot of images of landscapes and other weird things

Google can recognize faces in the images for you...

Normally when you search for something on Image google the url will look like this

images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=Name&btnG=Search+Images

Where it saids Name is where your subject will be

Now all you have to do is to change the last part, by putting &imgtype=face instead of Images.

So it will look like this

images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=Name&btnG=Search+&imgtype=face

Name is still your subject

When you have changed the last part just hit Enter and google will search for faces.

Thanks for the guide. Another trick for tip 3 is to type in £20= and you will get options for conversion then click the one you want and at the top of the results page will be the answer in big black bold. I know you will get the conversion to dollars have not tried others but presume it will work.

Always interested in tips and tweaks.

You can also search for video files using:

-inurl:htm -inurl:html -inurl:asp intitle:"index of" +(wmv|mpg|avi) +TITLE

Juct change TITLE for what you're looking for.

this is a simple one but if u want a word defined then you just type - Define and your word/sentence and google does its stuff

or define:(keyword), eg. define:darkside

or a calculator, eg. 5 + 5
